The French heritage of perfumery is certainly not in the blood, nor in the family tree. It resides in talent and is transcribed marvelously, composition after composition, honing unparalleled know-how.
After long years of self-taught training, Jimmy Bodin perfected his art and won hearts through different fragrances, notably under the Jousset Parfums brand.

Passionate about his work which - without difficulty - crosses borders, Jimmy devotes himself to artisan perfumery under the brand The Unleashed Apothecary. A playground allowing him to release his emotions through creative and daring perfumery.
Eager to recharge his batteries, it was in 2022 that the entrepreneur decided to return to France to his native Brittany after a 15-year journey in Switzerland. With his wife Melis and Henri, his best childhood friend, the three of them decided to found a multi-service workshop for artisan perfumers. ATELIMAP brings together the two brands under one single House. It offers the world its artistic development, fragrance development and manufacturing services.

CONTEMPORARY CLAIM
Overwhelmed with requests, Jimmy denounces a perfume industry which is running out of steam and which is seriously harming olfactory education.
The perfumer decides to take a step back by letting his co-managers operate and withdraws temporarily to study French perfumery of yesteryear. He describes it as "the assimilation of his heritage" and decides to describe his fundamental values through a new work.
"Jimmy Bodin is true French craftsmanship but without contemporary claims. It's a brand that has difficulty fitting into a framework because of its creativity but I no longer want to worry about whether it's adapted to the market or not. C This is also the goal of this independence, to dissociate myself from what is done in the industry because I prefer to live as an artist rather than as an entrepreneur. For me happiness is freedom, with Jimmy Bodin I am. offers compositional freedom and that's what makes me happy, it shows in my works."
Strong values and the heritage of French perfumery as inspiration, an air of vintage (or nostalgia?) decadent but without excess, piercing and without half measures.
